In our world, which seems to be filled with a lot of bad news, let me share some really good news!

As a Christian, God the Father has given you the gift of no-condemnation!

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus . . . Who is the one who condemns?  Rom. 8:1, 34

God has given you the gift of no-condemnation! This is really good news!  The more you start to believe that you are righteous in Christ and refuse to accept condemnation for your past mistakes and present temptations, the more you will be set free from wrong thinking that might hinder you.

Even though you fail (and we all do from time to time), there is no condemnation from the Father because you are in Christ, and all your sins were washed away by His blood. When God looks at you, He doesn’t focus on your failures. God sees you as a learner, not a failure. As Jesus is spotless and without blame, so are you in your born-again spirit—the real you.

Now if you feel condemned, it is not from God. Your own conscience may smite you, and Satan—the accuser of the brethren—may condemn you, but God does not.  Thank God!

When you do something wrong, you will sense a conviction from the Holy Spirit to repent of that sin. However, the feeling of condemnation is different—it is an assault against your sonship in Christ. That assault is either from Satan or your conscience, but it is not from God. Conviction from the Holy Spirit leads you to repentance and draws you into purity in your fellowship with the Lord; condemnation leads you to despair and hopelessness.

God isn’t condemning you (Rom. 8:31–35). Your own heart may condemn you, and you’ve blamed it on God.  However, God is not angry with you. God is not out to “get you.” He is not even in a bad mood. God loves you! The Lord is truly now at peace with you!

Remember, God the Father has given you the gift of no-condemnation, which gives you the power to overcome your weaknesses and failures.  Furthermore, you have been made a joint heir with Christ.  What a privilege!

And if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ.  Rom. 8:17

Now is the time to adopt this no-condemnation concept to your life.  Say out loud:  “I am free from condemnation because Jesus has given me the gift of no-condemnation, and I am now a joint heir with Christ, sharing His inheritance with Him.”

Let me recap:  That feeling of condemnation that you sometimes experience is an assault against your sonship in Christ. That assault is either from Satan or your conscience, but it is not from God. Because you are righteous, holy, and free from condemnation in your born-again spirit, you must push back against the charge of condemnation from the Enemy. Do not accept the charge of the Enemy. You are now a joint heir with Christ, and you share in His inheritance, so reject any condemning assault against your sonship.

Activation prayer:

I believe and declare that in my born-again spirit I am free from all condemnation against me. Jesus took the full brunt of the punishment for my sins so that I can live free of condemnation. I keep my eyes on Jesus’ finished work for me, and not my own works. I will not accept any accusation or condemnation for sin that Jesus already paid for nearly two thousand years ago. I choose to fully accept the gift of no-condemnation and live as a joint heir with Christ and share in His full inheritance.
